No, you go over the hill.......

When we're young all we want is to be older, And oh lucky us if we get our wish. We hit puberty, hit high school, and suddenly, we are old, real old like 25 old.

And it doesn't stop there. 30 creeps up, 40, we lose some things and gain others. We loose resilience. We gain skin in the oddest places, We lose our keys, some idealism, our fertility, most hormones even the thing puberty gave us in crazy abundance in the first place. Our unlimited and never changing sex drive.
 
The change, the end, the over the hill gang, oh lets call it the anti puberty and be done with it. It's our manifest destiny It's a door closing, and we - all of us, you strangers you haven't met - have to open another one.  It's like puberty in reverse, only you have money and far less acne.

Look at it this way, you made it through puberty and were amply rewarded. Now you are not only wiser, your cooler. Stronger, more interesting, less gullible.

You know who you are and you will never ever wear your hair like that again. If you are feeling bla, down, wrong, less, badly, anythin but well, then do something. Its not youth you've lost, Its just your balance. And that hill? the view from the top, where can you see, oh, just about anything. Exactly...

HRT: It kills you, but first it makes you mad
It never rains but it pours for the HRT industry.  One of the most lucrative drugs markets came crashing down with the sudden stopping of a Women's Health Initiative trial when it was discovered that estrogen plus progestin increased the risk of stroke in post-menopausal women.

This alarming discovery overshadowed another finding from the same trial-finally published only recently-that found the therapy also increases the risk of dementia among women aged over 65. In fact, the risk is more than doubled in women who take one HRT tablet a day compared with those taking a placebo.

The risk was discovered after tracking over a four-year period the progress of 4,532 women who were older than 65 and had good mental health at the start of the study.  Half were given HRT therapy and the rest had a placebo.

Overall 61 women were diagnosed with dementia, 40 of whom were in the HRT group and 21 in the placebo group. Researchers estimate that HRT will create an additional 23 cases of dementia a year for every 10,000 women taking the drug. The risk of dementia, coupled with the increased risk of stroke, means that the risks of HRT outweigh any benefits, the study concludes.

BUT THIS DOESN'T APPLY TO GERMANS.
In an extraordinary act of damage limitation, one HRT manufacturer has told several thousand German gynecologists that the Women's Health Initiative findings are of "highly limited relevance" to German women.
